The electric cooperatives supplying 12.25% of the national population, so consider more than necessary to review the draft Electricity Law in order to be taken into account in this legal initiative.
At this time electric cooperatives Coopesantos RL, Coopelesca RL, RL and Coopealfaroruiz Coopeguanacaste, supply of electricity to 12.25% of the national population, which amounts to a demand of 11.70% of the energy is distributed in the country. In addition, these cooperatives have a production capacity of 84 megawatts, representing 5.6% of national demand.
